1. Who we are

This website (www.recepteca.com) and the Recepteca service are operated by Recepteca, based in Lisboa, Portugal (“Recepteca”, “we”, “us”). For any question about privacy, contact privacy@recepteca.com.

2. Data we collect

Through this website we collect the details you submit in our forms (name, email, phone, company, industry and message) and technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.

When our customers use Recepteca to answer calls, we process callers' data (phone number, call audio, transcripts and information shared during the call) on behalf of our customers, acting as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement.

3. Why we use it

We use your data to reply to your requests, provide and improve the service, send service communications, meet legal obligations and, with your consent, send marketing communications.

The legal bases are the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, our legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations and your consent, as applicable.

4. How long we keep it

We keep contact requests for up to 24 months and customer data for the duration of the contract plus any period required by law. Call data is kept according to the retention settings chosen by each customer.

5. Sharing and transfers

We share data only with service providers that help us run Recepteca (such as hosting, telephony and email), under contracts that protect your data. Data is stored in the European Union. Where a transfer outside the EEA is necessary, we rely on adequate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise your rights, email privacy@recepteca.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
