Recepteca was born in Lisbon from a simple frustration: great local businesses losing customers because nobody could pick up the phone.
Why Recepteca
Walk into any clinic, salon or restaurant in Portugal and you'll see the same thing: a phone ringing while someone at the desk is busy helping the person in front of them. Every one of those unanswered calls is a booking, an order or a customer that goes somewhere else.
Hiring more reception staff isn't realistic for most small businesses — and even the best receptionist can only take one call at a time, and goes home at night.
So we built Recepteca: an AI front desk that sounds natural, speaks European Portuguese properly, understands how local businesses work, and connects to the tools they already use. It doesn't replace your team — it frees them to focus on the people in the room.
